Research Source Quality Triage
A source triage rubric helps a daily research team choose evidence that is authoritative, current, relevant, and inspectable.

Methodology: triage is a screening step, not a claim that any source is universally sufficient for every decision.
Prefer the organization that owns the data, standard, study, or policy. Note publication date, update date, method, scope, and limitations in the ledger.
Use secondary commentary to locate context, then follow it back to the primary source for headline claims and tables.
Escalate inaccessible, stale, conflicting, or definitionally ambiguous sources instead of silently substituting a convenient figure.
